As a professional violinist, Lisa offers high-quality violin and music theory lessons to students from all ages and skill levels in Belgium. She also provides atmospheric, bespoke concerts for events, ceremonies, and private occasions, either as a soloist or as part of the Auristra Duo. Together, we tailor the program entirely to your preferences.

As a professional musician, Lisa enjoys sharing the musical and instrumental knowledge she has gained over the years with all music lovers. To make music together, learn from the process, and see her students progress is her goal. She focuses on violin technique (specifically left- and right-arm mechanics), physical relaxation while playing, freedom of movement, and musicality and creativity. She aims to help every student enhance their own unique musicality by improving their instrumental skills and technique through the use of technical tools, insights from various violin schools, practical tips and tricks, and targeted exercises. Teaching is deeply important to Lisa, as she is passionate about helping future musicians — as well as amateurs — realize their dreams.

The most frequently used technical books during lessons include exercises and études by Schradieck, Ševčík, Pierre Baillot, Charles Auguste de Bériot, Kreutzer, Dont, Rode, Mazas, Dancla, and so on. For scales, Lisa recommends using books by Carl Flesch, Dounis, Grygorian, and Galamian. Other books are certainly welcome as well. The selection of violin repertoire (such as Romances, Sonatas, Concertinos, Concertos, Partitas, etc.) is discussed and decided upon during the lessons.
